Though it may be the middle of July, there's still time to make a hubski playlist for the beach days and barbecues still to come! Hubski has great music posts and I hope that with our powers combined we can make a summer playlist for the ages. Post suggestions, preferably with a link, and I will try to have a spotify playlist together soonish.
Some suggestions of my own:
(I really like Dirty Heads)
Sultans of Swing - Dire Straits
Give our Dreams Their Wings to Fly - Tim McMorris
Original video had stupid fucking audiojungle ad, had to use lyrics video.
[Escape (The Pina Colada Song) - Rupert Holmes](
Edit: I've tried to fix the foramtting, but I don't understand why one video is embedded but the rest aren't. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Edit 2: ButterflyEffect has confirmed that he is not updating his list anymore, so I shall combine the two threads and hopefully have a spotify playlist up by today.
Edit 3: Spotify Playlist!

I come back to El Guincho's Bombay every summer. Some summer kpop for those not yet initiated. Catchy tunes ahead. Sober - Big Bang Happy - 2NE1 Her - Block B View - SHINee Give Love - Akdong Musician Touch My Body - SISTAR Beautiful Night - BEAST Tell Me Your Wish - Girls' Generation Solo Day - B1A4
You might want to check out ButterflyEffect's songs of the summer thread.
Oh thanks. If it's still being updated I'll add any songs posted here to their list. If not, I'll combine the two playlists.
My friend and I listened to "Sultans of Swing" probably 6 times on a 10 hour drive through the middle of the night in August. Definitely a must have.
My group of friends has a strange "game" where we think of the most unrelated leadership to put in front of Swing. Night Shift Managers of Swing, Caliphs of Swing, etc. It's fun for some reason.
I do that sort of thing all of the time. It's not quite a game, but word association is still hilarious. I one time was building like 12 mannequins, and we decided to give each of them a name that started with 'w'. My submission is Part-time Volunteer Park Rangers of Swing.
Gosh, sure is #summer in here... Wait, what site am I on again? :P My suggestion would probably be Periphery's "Racecar"; it's a FIFTEEN MINUTE song, but it's a must have for anyone who wants to indulge their heavier side, whilst embarking on an epic musical journey, all in one song. One of my favorites <3
One could make like 5 different songs out of that. Holy shit the range of that singer.
Spencer Sotelo is one of my favorites in the djent genre, he has some RIDICULOUS range. Another band you might enjoy if you liked Racecar would be Monuments, specifically their song "I, the Creator"; I usually listen to the guitar part of any song first, but when they released the album track of the same song, I was absolutely blown away. Chris Barretto is INCREDIBLY talented, and I can't wait for more from them.
I love these songs, but they're not exactly "chill". Still great though!
