Just wanted to put this out there: I'm a Neil Young fanatic. If anyone wants to get into his music or know about some deep cuts, I'm your man. Get at me!
Fantastic song. Neil Young really has quite a musical range. You get everything from mellow pieces like this one to heavy drive Rockin' in the Free World (his heavy stuff was a big influence on Cobain, and the Pearl Jam guys). I rather like his recent covers album he did with Jack White. Every song on it was recorded on a Voice-o-Graph form the 40s.
When I first started listening to him, I'd heard him called the Grandfather of Grunge, but I started out listening to Old Man and other similar songs, which left me greatly confused. After getting Decade, everything made a lot more sense. Just bought Harvest earlier today, and now it looks like I'll be looking for this Jack White collaboration you mentioned.
I can get on board with this more that I can with #sadboys for sure
