Worst nightmare for anyone with social anxiety. Seated closer to others and probably having a lot more eye contact and awkwardness with other passengers. But I'm interested in how safe it would be, both in evacuation matters and crashes. If I recall there's a difference in safety depending on which direction you're facing in a plane, among plenty of other factors.
yeah this looks like a clusterfuck for evacuations. the way the seats are positioned looks like a major tripping hazard. also people behave so badly as it is on planes. i am having horrible visions of the person across from me thinking it's totally fine to put their feet up on my arm rests.
My fiancée is a former flight attendant, and while that certainly doesn't give her a ton of insight into the FAA process, she agrees with the points arguewithatree made. It's just too much of a deathtrap to get approved.
