Yes, that was my feeling (or lack thereof) as well. There's nothing bad about the experience, but the benefit of portability doesn't offset the near-equivalent cost, the DRM, and the loss of tactility.

That's the kicker for me. If an electronic copy was half the cost maybe the DRM and bland experience would be worth it. Two of the books I ordered are more as Kindle editions and one is the same price. I'll stick with the paper copy I can leave in my car or toss in my backpack without a second thought.near-equivalent cost
