I have lost 17 kg since mid-November. One thing to notice: I have a healthy lifestyle. I exercise (even participate in official table tennis competitions), I do not eat junk food -- never. I have tried a million of different things, including low-calorie diet, no-carb diet, extensive physical activity (running 30 km a week for a few months, bicycling 40 km a day for months) - all of that for no real effect. What worked is about -1000 calories a day (-500 didn't work, and I was really conservative in estimating how much I spend) plus eating a lot. Which means that I eat a lot of raw fruits and especially vegetables, spending my evenings stuffing myself with carrots and cabbage :)
