Straight-up/Up/Straight with white spirits like rum and vodka means chilled in a shaker with ice, or in a cooler, then poured without the ice. Neat means what you're thinking of.

Yeah. Neat is what I meant, though in my defense I've heard the term "straight" as in "straight out of the bottle."
