Looks like it's becoming a replay of 2012 and Ron Paul vs The RNC across the aisle.
I was surprised by how blatantly process was ignored at this convention. How do people think they can get away with stuff like this when so much is recorded now? Have votes like this been going on when we haven't been able to peer inside these meetings prior to now? I also find it interesting how none of the existing factions with media coverage have chosen to leverage this event for their cause. Hilary can't mention it to make Sanders supporters seem out of control, because then there would be more focus on systemic corruption. Sanders can't mention it because "unity". The Republicans can't mention it because they don't want to go against Sanders in November. Very interesting times indeed. (Wanting to see more discussion on this may have been partially responsible for my creating an account.)
Bernie Sanders actually just released a statement on Nevada.
Thanks! I've been waiting for something like this. It's nice to see that he addressed the issues that led to the unrest rather that just the results of it, as I have seen most sources doing. Wow, can't believe I missed that one. Things like this really need to be in the media cycle. If this happened to any other candidate, we'd never hear the end of it.I should add here that months ago, during the Nevada campaign, shots were fired into my campaign office in Nevada and apartment housing complex my campaign staff lived in was broken into and ransacked.
