Here's my happy thought: two years ago, an active day would have consisted of running two and a half miles or biking 18 to 35 miles.

Since then I've had 10+ hour hikes, seeing some amazing views and accomplishing things I'd never even knew existed. More recently I've finished a half marathon in a time I'm satisfied with.

I'm signed up for two more half marathons and one full marathon in November 2017. In September I have plans to spend six days and five nights in the woods. While those plans are three months off and therefore highly variable, I look at those plans and think "yeah, I could do that."

So those are my happy thoughts. I'm able to do things that make me feel good.
