I wrote an article debunking the myths about banning guns. I was able to easily counter correlations with my own correlations.

I strongly oppose restricting a freedom unless there is clear evidence supporting the decision. It seems like we could have found a solution to curbing violence by now if we met in the middle. I just see money going down the drain with lobbying, protests, and court cases just to remain neutral.

Any solutions?

One of mine was:

We need more programs that encourage and compensate people for footage leading to an arrest of any crime. People make thousands of dollars on prank videos, twerking, or just showing how stupid we can be but nothing for catching someone doing graffiti, bullying or assault on video?

If I had the funds, I would sell concealable micro cameras that upload to a master server. The only way the footage would be released is if a crime was committed or a court order. This would ensure people only record crimes to avoid privacy issues. If it leads to an arrest, they get a reward.
