So, what would this mean for a company with 24 employees that is enjoying the protection of The Pledge?
That's a really good question. Personally, that's why I think it might not be a good idea for Google et al. to sign this pledge. The actual number of Google users that are aware of this issue are very small, and the potential for stirring up ire among those that are aware of the issue might only increase if they start involving themselves this stuff like this.
