A couple of weeks ago I was at home from school (I'm a third year in college, and my school has a special work/study schedule in which every 6 months I switch between working and taking classes, this is relevant I promise) and I had a panic attack because I felt stuck in a school that doesn't take my major seriously, doesn't offer options for the "work" part of our program (I had 7 last year, and I have 12 this year. Compared to the 100+ other majors have), and in a class that I had begun to despise (protip, learn compsci shit online, the classes will make you want to tear your hair out). Luckily I was at home and my parents were able to help calm me down and begin to think of options. My transfer application deadlines were last Wednesday, I submitted all of them last Tuesday. I don't know if I'll get in anywhere, and if I don't I really am stuck in this school, but I was at least able to switch out of the terrible class I was in and into a class that, while still hard for me (I don't know how to write. Like I'm worse than normal engineering students at essays), is at least a requirement to graduate.
