This song was playing when I got punched in the face by some teenage girl I was trying to help up off the floor of the mosh pit. Then I got a full beer spilled down my back. I think I got kicked a few times. Also had a weird bruise on my thigh that I don't recall getting. BEST FUCKING CONCERT EVER.
"The Yabba" -Battles Oh man I've been getting really into Battles recently and this song just gets stuck in my head; it's such a great earworm! "The Less I Know The Better" -Tame Impala I've never really sat down and listened to a full Tame Impala album, so that's probably gonna be one of the things I do this weekend. "I Might Vote For Donald Trump" -JPEGMAFIA x Freaky Okay I know this song has a really controversial title (and it's not something I personally agree with), but if you like alternative hip-hop (especially t=tending towards the darker side) then you should definitely check this out. "Between Villains" -Captain Murphy Continuing on the dark hip-hop train we come to this song which features both Earl Sweatshirt and none other than MF DOOM (going by one of his many monikers: Viktor Vaughn). "And I Grew Into Ribbons" -Street Sects Holy hell do I love Street Sects! Fair warning though, this music is not at all for everybody. It's very noisy with lots of shots of white noise. "It Takes Two" -Carly Rae Jepsen & Lil Yachty Yes I know this video is literally a three minute Target commercial, but it's still a really fun cover! "Waiting Room" -Fugazi And finally, because this list isn't eclectic enough, every time I need to get pumped up I can count on Fugazi.
This week's music is brought to you by the letters Hate and Vitriol. Finally took the time to track down the self financed Kinshi by Theatre of Hate. It's simultaneously mind-blowing and totally appropriate that they're still touring... 1. Black Irony 2. Facade 3. Day Of The Dog 4. Pleasured 5. Eyeless In Gaza 6. Kit Kat Club 7. Maintenance Man 8. Mr Mendacity 9. Triumph 10. Slave Can't listen to that without their earlier work too. I'm not sure who remasters an album - Westworld - and instead turns it into a best of ... album but it's the best recording I could find on youtube.
Oomph! feat. Marta Jandová -- Träumst Du. Miike Snow -- Genghis Khan (Loius the Child remix). this one resonates with me RUN-DMC -- It's Tricky (DJ Fresh remix). Kristopher Edberg -- Toxic Girl. Soundcloud. unfinished track or not, it's gorgeous 2unlimited -- Get Ready for This. Porches -- Mood. Phonat -- Ghetto Burnin'. this one has better sound timing, and the official video has cool visuals Red Hot Chilly Peppers -- Go Robot. surreptitiously editing a song I forgot about in P.S. mk, putting links [like this (with parentheses)](http://hubski.com) doesn't work. Anything can be done about that?
Very much the cheesy kind of country folk music popularised by Daniel O'Donnell, but it's tremendously catchy.
I have been digging this new song a lot the past days. #songsforpabs? nowaypablo Also, Spinvis is coming with a new album. Not sold yet on the first single but it's something to look out for. Besides those I'm still getting into more Frank Ocean. Next up: Chance The Rapper.
The tag #songsforpabs always irks me, apparently my hubski persona includes a very fluid taste of music. This song in particular should have a credits in the end so whoever produced it can be found, flayed alive and displayed on a wooden pike as a sign of what not-to-do. That said, hearing music in this language is fucking awesome. Overall, it's a neat song with good intentions. I don't know why I decided to give a shitty version of a critic's review on your post, especially since one was not solicited. Math test and Physics test tomorrow, I'm screwed for at least one of the two. welp i'll get back to work now.
Yeah I can totally see how it irks you, as I impose my image of your music taste onto you. It (the link, not Spinvis) reminded me of Tame Impala and a bit of James Blake, so I thought it'd be worth the shot. Ps if you are still remotely interested in Spinvis, I just found out about the song Bagagedrager which I totally dig.
I like this song much more than the other. Have you heard of Binkbeats? I didn't even realize that he was Dutch when I found him a few years ago. He does some of the most impressive live takes I've ever seen or heard of, you might like this. At his feet are loop pedals, when he plays a sound he can loop to create layers and layers of voices. So every sound you're hearing is live, also in one take.
That's dope. Europe certainly owns electronic music, hearing its derivations in different parts of the continent is always interesting.
Headphones. Pedro the Lion. David Bazan. It's been a shit end of the week, so sad boy PNW music is back in style.
