Man, that is crazy - certainly worse than any storms we've had up in my neck of the woods. I hope you're well-supplied and can stay out of trouble for a couple more days!
I'm good to go. Plenty of water and food, hopefully we keep electricity. Thanks though dude :). We're currently on the brink of experiencing yet another rainfall event tonight that this city cannot afford. The rain band is forming up, and the areas west (and east) of us are currently taking a thrashing. This thing definitely becomes more intense in the night, at least for this region relative to the center. This is baaaaaaaaad. Probably much less loss of life than Katrina, but the cost (adjusted to 2005 $'s) will be considerably greater, I'm afraid. We'll see. I hope I'm wrong about the severity tonight, we've already broken every local record.
Where are you located? If school didn't start this week I would consider going down to aid a disaster relief effort.
Med center. The night wasn't too bad, but Harvey has moved back towards the coast, and it's about to re-enter the gulf and probably strengthen. Models are showing it thrashing Houston for another foot or more of rain and then moving outta here by Thursday morning-ish. Hopefully we can maintain a healthy amount of law and order. So far, so good :/
