Way to make everyone here cry, buddy. Least I have the excuse of being a major depressive who once teared up during the train sequence in Spider-Man 2. I also wrote about my grandpa not long ago. Not filled with anecdotes but there are a few good ones in there. I can relate to a lot of what you wrote even though I never had a chance to be as close to my grandpa as you seem to have been to yours. My grandma kinda hated my dad and eventually that whole half of my family did. It's a complicated story as can happen when you try to smoosh two families into one extended one. And one steals silverware from restaurants.
