I just came back after almost two years away. I'd forgotten what a lovely place this was, and how it restores my faith in humanity.
In the years I have been away, I have: had a baby girl (who's nearly 1 already), moved to Paris, started writing a kids' novel.
also I forgot how to embed images
Welcome back! If you have a question about Paris, France, or something else related to the country, you can ask me directly :) I'm currently living in the suburbs and working near Les Champs Elysées.
nice! are you west? we're all the way over in Vincennes (though we hang out in the bois de Boulogne as well! we're basically only doing woods until it cools off a bit).
I'm north-west of Paris, in the 95 :) Enjoy the World Cup Final ! Might be hard to sleep on Sunday night !
A kid who goes to space school! It's super fun to write. I'm mostly researching the admissions process for astronauts at the moment, which is FASCINATING.
Paris is hot. And surprisingly normal, compared with the other places I've visited recently (Brexit Britain, Trump's America). I'm currently sitting in a Brasserie eating a croissant and drinking espresso, the dog lolling next to me, child sleeping in a stroller. It could be the year 1890, easily.
I like being a time traveller. I lived in Havana (1959) for three years :) and now Paris (1890). I like the Renaissance a lot, too - any ideas where I should go for that?
Images embed automatically if they end in .jpg You can even trick hubski into embedding other formats if you hotlink from imgur and change the extension because imgur's urls are format agnostic (i.e. the extension name is irrelevant to actually getting to the link).
