...mmmmmmmmmmmmmaybe.
For those not in the know, exotic Italian marques, both of the automotive and motorcycle variety, tend to fall into and out of bankruptcy with stunning regularity. My two favorite examples are Bugatti, which was briefly owned by the Medellin Cartel between Proton and VAG, and MV Agusta, which was purchased from the founders by Harley Davidson for $108m in 2008 and sold back to the founders by Harley Davidson for $1 in 2010.
Bimota has been insolvent/bankrupt pretty much every third year since the '70s. The fact that they haven't shown a bike since 2015 is an indicator that it's time to be solvent again for like three years. IF Kawasaki bought them, it would be the first time a serious player, rather than a dilettante, has taken a stake.
(the Tesi 3D was made by Vyrus, who are my favorite brand of all time simply for using Death in Vegas in their promo videos)
