After a bit of neglect, I've been gradually making Hubski more mobile-friendly, and cleaning up bugs as I find them.
The last one was the search field dropdown. It now spans the entire top rather than just the corner, and now also displays the daily top comment and top post, which disappeared with the people page.
I know of a couple of things that I need to address, but I am sure that I am missing some. If you know of something that's wonky or buggy, please let me know.
Thanks!
Hubski-generated emails are now certainly off of the Google spam filter list. So this is the opposite of a bugski. Congrats!
Previews and posts seem to speak different markdown dialects. renders the \ in preview (so displays \/), but interprets it as escaping the * when displaying the post (so displays */), while displays */ in preview, but interprets the * as markup in the post. for d in */
for d in /
these sorts of pages have been broken forever, ex. https://hubski.com/posts/kingmudsy?shareby=flagamuffin i've never seen one respect the shareby param
For some reason, when I dismiss all my notifications one by one and am sent to another page, that last comment I tried to dismiss hangs around and the circledot next to my username stays teal. When I go back to my notifications, that last comment isn't dismissed but is still there.
was there, once upon a time, a way to see hubski/tag/xx?shareby=flagamuffin oh wait, that still works. is there a way to jump to it from the tag page? what does 'filter' do on hubski/tag/xx -- i can't really make it do anything and it doesn't change the url, just clears everything out
Clicking on "+discuss" is giving me a text box for about a second, and then taking it away again (but not all the time?) Using: Windows 10/Firefox 71.0 (Firefox for Acer 1.0) ....hmmmm when did we start needing FF to be built for particular manufacturers?
If you click on the text that lets you see who shared/circle-dotted a comment, then click 'discuss', the textbox appears for a second and then disappears. If you close the "shared" text, you can click 'discuss' and the textbox appears as normal. (Firefox/Linux)
