anyone been
I've known the Meow Wolf gang through Burningman for a number of years. Had a friend just drive through Santa Fe in the "before times" (pre-COVID), and they got to go check out this space. The pictures (apparently) don't do it justice. There's a theme and a storyline you (can choose to) follow through the whole space, to see a deeper connection between each of the rooms and installations. I'd love to see what they have done with the place, and what it FEELS like to be inside there....!
I only had about an hour to spend in there, but there were things like hand-written letters and/or diaries lying around that you could pick up and read. I wanna say there were some overlapping elements in the pictures on the walls, stuff like that, but I only had enough time to take in the baseline "pretty aesthetics" aspect of the whole experience. I'd not looked into Santa Fe entertainment, so I asked my waitress for suggestions. Of course Meow Wolf was the first thing she mentioned. The last thing she said after bringing me back my debit card was "Oh, and make sure you go out the back of the fridge!". And so I did. Never been any place on Earth remotely like it.theme and a storyline
I've been. Was dope. One of the coolest parts was the room where they hold shows. DJs and local-ish musicians, mostly.
