Video data products are so good that I put some in the supplemental information of my first paper. The journal has broken the links. Not sure what I pay them for. Yes, naturally, the galaxy's colonizers converge on the galactic core because of the higher density of stars there. Snoot meter is maxed today, for personal reasons, but I'm surprised this is considered publishable. I wish they'd included the elapsed time in each frame. But everybody knows that the best reason to get to the core is because it might be one of a series of interconnected wormholes that allow intergalactic transit. It was either you or Devac who suggested that there's probably a good diner there, I think. What do you think it's named?
It's... a lot. I'll note that full colonization takes two full rotations of a galactic arm, which is not only 460 million years it's 28 seconds. So at the pathetic framerate they're rawkin', about a million years per frame. Juuuuuuust the other side of that supermassive event horizon, I'm sure. lolI wish they'd included the elapsed time in each frame.
