It is a simulation of the basic structure of the Universe from a diffuse cloud of gas into a massive network of galaxies and galactic superclusters all gravitationally bound to one another. Inbetween 25 - 40 seconds you see the development of superclusters (the very bright lights). It is amazing to me to see 13.7 billion years of development in 2:25 minutes.
