Hey, I'm Dany, I'm a young commission artist, ask me anything!
I'm mainly a digital artist with a manga/anime variety art style!
How long have you been taking commissions? Is there a primary platform that you use to solicit commissions and process payment? I ask because I'm 30 and I know that the way that I understand banking and money is massively different from the way that I understood it when I was 18. If my friends and I had smartphones of today's complexity when we were teenagers I know a few of them definitely would try to start businesses and run everything through cash app.
I've been taking commissions since late 2020, but have only been recently getting buyers since the end of summer (which i think was august). When it comes down to payment, if i know the person irl i'll ask for a cash payment or through Cashapp, however, if i only know someone through online interactions, i ask for the payment through Cashapp.
What kind of art do you make? Are you willing to share any of it?
I make mainly digital art when it comes down for commissions, but if i just want to have a basic idea or a random doodle that might be transferred to digital, i draw traditionally. Unfortunately i recently broke my phone so i have to take a pause on making commissions and this computer doesn't allow me to hook up my drawing pad. Nothing from my phone saved to my computer so unfortunately i can't show any pictures either, but i gladly would if my phone worked :)
