Bummer you don't like the faculty and administration. There are options for you if you think plowing through challenging circumstances isn't helpful, but oftentimes they are more helpful upon reflection. Before you make drastic change, try talking to some CS alumni (5 years out minimum) and see what they say.

Good luck!

Well, to be honest everyone hates our faculty but overall the alumni love the school since area employers love the UMBC name and will hire people just based on the fact that they graduated from UMBC.

So it's worth it then? Because people don't hire based on a name, they hire based on a reputation .

Not worth it to me since I don't plan on staying in Baltimore and nobody outside Baltimore knows what the hell UMBC is. I mean if you plan on working in the Baltimore/DC area I can see this being very advantageous. Most of my friends have internships and jobs for government contractors making $20+ an hour, but they still hate UMBC administration. Its a love/hate relationship.
