I think the mobile version can really only hit the same target market that the desktop version already has. The openness of Linux is always enticing, and I love some of the ideas they presented here (especially the ability to give 100% of your screen space to whatever app is open), but I'm not sure if it can even put a dent in the world's mobile market. That said, I really hope they prove me wrong.

I have been waiting for far too long for linux's "home run". It just hasn't happened for consumers. For some reason, people like to pay for software because it feels more stable. I just don't find that. A lot of closed source software relies on fear. But it is really effective.
