I thought I posted in here already, but I guess I never hit submit. That beer was pretty good. I actually turned around a couple minutes after I left because I was intending to take some home with me. b_b mentioned that he thought he heard something about Synergy on NPR. I wasn't able to find anything, but there are a lot of efficient planes popping up. I was surprised to learn there is already a plane that will cruise at 140 getting about 45MPG, the Virus SW from Pipistrel. The specs aren't as impressive as what Synergy is claiming they can achieve, but it's available right now for ~$110k, whereas Synergy won't be widely available and economical for several years, and will probably be more expensive anyways. I really enjoyed hanging out in Detroit, so I'm probably going to go back this summer.
Anywhere in particular on the North Side? I go to school in Chicago, can't drink beer though.
