I'm also grew up on RPG, but didn't read any RPG fiction.

Are you still gaming? I'm playing in a D&D campaign right now.

caio my friend, you don't know the half of it. :p

I wrote a RPG called Wayfarers. I just finished a revision of it, and the cool news is that we are getting distributed by Mongoose in December.

What edition of D&D are you playing?

Congratulations, man. Is this the one?

I like classless systems, like Shadowrun. More customization allowed.

We're using the 3.5 rules. We've been playing for about a year now, but with very few sessions. Sadly, everyone's busy.

That's the one. People have described it as a classless system with a 1E/2E feel. I don't get a chance to play much these days either. The crew has been scattered to the wind.

Once I've got the revised PDF done, I'll shoot you a copy. Probably within the next two weeks. It's much better than our original print, IMO.

Hey, thought you might be interested. I did an interview about the game here: http://www.geeknative.com/24033/jimmy-swills-wayfarers-inter...

I do have longer-term plans to release Android and iPad versions of the game, with things like an editable character sheet, and random determination tables. It boggles my mind that companies with more resources aren’t jumping on this.

This is so right. There's fun to be had in pen-and-pencil character creation, but, for D&D at least, it comes to a point where there's just too much stuff too keep track off.

Thanks. I so wish I had the time to do this right now. I'd love to be ahead of the curve on that one.

Will do. I'm actually responding to a blog interview about it at the moment. :)

Expect it soon.
