This is interesting. I haven't come to a conclusion as to whether I'm in favor of it or not, but I'm wondering how it would look on other, arbitrarily chosen images. The one in the screenshot was chosen, I'm sure, because it's a great photo for this kind of script, but what about the ones less suited to it? How do those look?
Not nearly as good. That's one reason why I was trying to decrease the opacity of th image, and maybe put it in grayscale. It's tough to design with content that is not under your control. BTW, your username appears to be a random walk from the left to the right of the keyboard. :)
