Pangaea is often thought to have been the only supercontinent by most people. However, our planet goes through supercontinent cycles approximately every 600 million years. How many supercontinents have existed in the past? How many will exist in the future?

Haha, that is a good point. However, I feel like it is also hard for people to understand the time scales at which continental drift occurs. Plus it's hard to imagine significantly different continental arrangements. It is one thing to just imagine South America and Africa combined, but it is another thing to follow continental drift back so far that you are essentially looking at an alien world.
