I think USA is far more talented than Japan. I expect it to be a close game, one which USA really has most of the control of the match.
I find hubski very interesting. On reddit I would often click the consumable content real quick then go to the comments. The comments is where the quality is to me... or at least is supposed to be. The fact that this is discussion based makes it so much more appealing. I'm also trying out voat.co at the same time, but I'm thinking hubski is the next evolution. It reminds me of forums from back in the day, just with the new age style of nested commenting.
I think people like being were others are, hence Facebook remaining popular despite all the bs they've pulled. It may happen, but I think it takes place over years, not months. Further, the new site needs to offer something new, not just a lateral transition with less bs.
