The UK media reports that "the number of hospital admissions related to alcohol has risen to almost 1.2 million a year, according to new figures". For the Tories, the problem is one of both binge drinking and long-term alcohol abuse, and it's Labour's fault. For Labour it's just binge drinking encouraged by big business that's the problem, and the Tories are to blame' -Wow, politicians will take credit for anything these days, won't that?
