There seems to be a lot of new hubbies, or at least hubbies that aren't showing up in my feed. Hints are being dropped leading me to suspect some of them are women. Women on Hubski, I want to "follow" you -- not in a creepy stalking kind of way. I am "y"-chromosone challenged. Either mk or thenewgreen can verify that. I don't want to "out" anyone gender-wise, so please PM me if you would like a follower.
I can also understand you not wanting to identify as female.
Hello there, fellow females! I'm happy to know there's more of us.
I would prefer it if you could elucidate on your original post too. I seem to be interpreting it at least somewhat along the lines of lil - perhaps you don't think there is a need for the girls of Hubski to self-identify and, if they wish, tip their hats to each other? Or, if those caps-locks weren't sarcastic, then you want the girls to come out as girls - I assume good intent here, due to the cool & accepting bit. It's a bit hard to determine your tone through the caps though. Hence, I'm confused. Or - not sure! So let us know. :)
shoot, forgive me, it's an hour later here than in Austen. What part of EDIT: by the way, I'll have to take my confusing post down shortly as I refuse to confuse. Please do not not want to identify as female
did I misread or perhaps "over-misconstrue" - a word I saw discussed today on a blog.
Female here. Just lurking so far, but really glad to have found this community.
I made an "Intro to Hubski" sort of list that you may find useful (beyond/in addition to the Primer page). If you haven't seen it, check it out here Also, I would like to note that another euphemism for your username ("I just can't..."/"I can't even...") is "to lose your ability toucan." This phrase amuses me. I like to use it whenever possible. That's why I'm bringing it up now even though it's clearly not relevant in any other way. I need a chuckle today, my work computer is seriously shitting itself.
I am also a woman on Hubski. Feel free to follow me. Among the things I tend to share (as opposed to just read) are feminism-related discussions. I also get embroiled in them sometimes. I mean, that's not all I do here, but you'll see it if you follow me.
