Laibach - Spectre. As far as I can tell, the whole thing is Laibach making more-or-less straightforward statements about things. Laibach doesn't do that. I have been trying to figure out what I was missing since Tuesday. Reviews around the interwebs also seem to be missing it, if there is something there to miss. That's all I've got for you this week, Hubski. Either a catchy, earnest Laibach album or a great big whoosh.
Hey all, it's only taken me 61 weeks to get in board. This is a great thread though, and glad to be finally throwing a penny back. Not new, but definitely treating my speakers well of late:
Obscure Dance Pop French Electro-Funk Sample-Based Retouch of Sister Sledge's "B.Y.O.B" P.S. Going to catch Saint Pepsi Friday night at SXSW. Will dance. edit: fixed that last link
Holy shit. I just realized that French Electro-Funk is a genre I've been looking for for a very long time. Thank you!
Oh god, I wish. San Antonian. Largest cesspool in Texas, baby!
I'm really digging this local punk rock band from NY, Lawsuits. I must've listened to this album a dozen times by now. http://lawsuits.bandcamp.com/
I've just gotten into Björk, you probably already know OF her, but i dont hear that many that actively listen to her music, but if you like the lo-fi, expiremental and such, björk is for you. one of my favourites Edit: NSFW! (Björk's showing off her boobs)
It's all good. Night shifts are pretty forgiving.
I missed that!? Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. My life is now the saddest.
This is a good idea, I'll have to do that right now. You should PM me your handle or something so I can add you on waffles.
I just found this trap song and just can't get enough of the background
Good yet askew rhythm
Bizness - Tune Yards 90's FTW
Everclear - Santa Monica Modern Day Frank Sinatra
Jamie Cullum - I'm All Over It
Posture & The Grizzly just released their new album Busch Hymns. Energetic punk from Connecticut.
I got a new car and it came with Sirius Satellite Radio. I never listen to the radio except for NPR. I just went on a long drive though and decided that I'd give the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's station a whirl. That's where I rediscovered "Groove is in the Heart" -good fun. I ended up listening to the 90's quite a bit. It was all over the place: Lump: November Rain: Give me one Reason:
I'm not sure. I know bgood79 is a Serius subscriber...any idea if Dylan has a show?
thanks, but it looks like it was discontinued in 2013 thought they may air rebroadcasts.
