MIKA is a Lebanese-British singer/songwriter. In the World Music Awards in 2007, MIKA won 3 awards for this album. He was the first and only to ever win 3 in one year. He has brought comparison with artists such as Freddie Mercury, George Michael, Scissor Sisters, Rufus Wainwright, and Elton John. MIKA was trained by Alla Ardakov, and has a 3.5 octave voice. He came out as gay in 2012. He is also fluent in English, French, and Spanish, and can speak some Arabic and Mandarin Chinese. His other albums are The Boy Who Knew Too Much, released in 2009 and The Origin of Love, released in 2012

"Relax Take it Easy" is the gem here for me. Besides that, Happy Ending, Billy Brown, and Big Girl have their merits. Origin of Love is probably better IMHO. Lola Stardust Make You Happy Emily (Elle me dit) Overrated Celebrate
Yeah I totally see where you're coming from. I haven't listened to the newest album yet, but The Boy Who Knew Too Much was really awful. I only really listen to one song from that album. This one, I can stand about half.
As you might imagine with the voice of an opera singer, Mika is an amazing live performer. I saw him about a year or so ago at Music Hall of Williamsburg. He did a solo of 'Lola' with no microphone and just asked the crowd to be quiet. It was pretty amazing, but this guy really knows how to sing.
