Your "mono color" link is the same image as this one. I like the hubski up top. I would also remove the italics from "you're invited" -but that's just me and I'm no graphic designer. I think it's pretty awesome. I'd buy that t-shirt.
I think it's awesome. But if I were to be introduced to the image for the first time, knowing nothing at all about "hubski" I would think to myself, "I'm invited to a giant wedding ring surrounded by snare drums?" Ha. Only kidding. Kind of.
This is looking really good veen! Your design is improving so rapidly. It's really fun to watch!!
Blunt, from my iPhone feedback: I think make the stool legs at the bottom less tripod-y and the barstools a big skinnier. Maybe something more like this shape? The second could work if you got rid of the top part. Play with it. Obviously, keep your style. I'm just trying to show you alternative shapes. I still trace99% of my iconography and objects from photographs or other vectors. Also, the tops of the barstools are a little tall/fat for the angle. I wonder if it would still read as the Hubski logo there were people sitting at the bar with drinks. Probably not. Maybe though. I'd get it. Whenever you say that you're done playing with it, I'll upload to the swag shop.
Hey now, don't give up on me pal. I was just goofing, it's awesome but I far prefer it with color and I think I still like the original version the best.
Well, they had that awful gradient on them that I really don't like anymore. And after struggling with it for quite a bit, I finally found a good way to make them that wasn't detrimental to the overall image:(If it ain't broke . . .)
I love it! We just need an mk avatar mixing up thoughtfulness behind the bar... or something like that. -I'm kidding, this is great.
This sooo gets my vote. Now onto those (single colour plus white) stickerz. thenewgreen: I say, let's somehow make a bunch of multi-colour stickers (I see four colours plus white) and only send them to people when they have 1000 days on hubski. (Hmmm that could seem self-serving.) (tee hee)
