  play in garage
  play in bars
  play in clubs
  play in amphitheaters 
  play in arena's
  play in amphitheaters
  Brain-trust leaves group
  Others cling to the amphitheater but wind up in the club
  Brain-trust hires attorney and sues the other guys for         
  trying to stay relevant by using old name

I think it would be an error to call Peter Hook the brain trust of Joy Division or New Order. His bass playing is unique, but I think they could do quite well without him.

Yeah, it was a piss-poor attempt at humor. It would have worked better with Roger Waters/Floyd from the "brain-trust" perspective. Still, David Gilmore did a great job and.... yada, yada... my band timeline joke sucked. :)
