Dark. I enjoyed this _ref_, and if I had to have a criticism (which of course I don't have to have but I do...) it would be that the use of "Ariel" took me out of the poem. This is likely because I have a 3 year old that sings the songs from the Disney film. Other than that, I enjoyed this reading experience a lot. It made me think of my mortality, which there seems to be a lot of on Hubski these days. Not a bad thing to consider from time to time though.
