Amazing soundscapes and atmoshperes are created through their pieces. Chet Faker - Archangel Live Session Chet Faker, mostly known as a solo electronic composer, does a soulful, jazzy cover of one of Burial's most known tracks 'Archangel' with a live band. Chet Faker has done a number of performances available on Youtube with this setup and I highly recommend checking them. They're much better than his album tracks. Guthrie Govan - Wonderful Slippery Thing I'm usually not a huge fan of those manic guitar shredders as they're more often than not just people playing fast with little musicality. However, this guy gets it right. A wonderful fusion of genres, sounds, and musicianship. Every member in the band is fantastic and the guitar that takes the lead is carefully considered and mesmerising. Portico Quartet - Line / Rubidium (Live) Beautiful contemporary Jazz, merged with electronics and various other styles. I'll let this one speak for itself if you care to give it the full play-through.
Man, Chet Faker is great. Ben's gif sums it up pretty well. Actually got to listen to some Faker on the radio on the way to work today, hoping that's a good sign.
