Terje Rypdal, Miroslav Vitous, Jack DeJohnette - Sunrise

Captivating Jazz Fusion, with elements of Ambient and Progressive Rock, among others. Amazing soundscapes and atmoshperes are created through their pieces.

Chet Faker - Archangel Live Session

Chet Faker, mostly known as a solo electronic composer, does a soulful, jazzy cover of one of Burial's most known tracks 'Archangel' with a live band. Chet Faker has done a number of performances available on Youtube with this setup and I highly recommend checking them. They're much better than his album tracks.

Guthrie Govan - Wonderful Slippery Thing

I'm usually not a huge fan of those manic guitar shredders as they're more often than not just people playing fast with little musicality. However, this guy gets it right. A wonderful fusion of genres, sounds, and musicianship. Every member in the band is fantastic and the guitar that takes the lead is carefully considered and mesmerising.

Portico Quartet - Line / Rubidium (Live)

Beautiful contemporary Jazz, merged with electronics and various other styles. I'll let this one speak for itself if you care to give it the full play-through.

Man, Chet Faker is great. Ben's gif sums it up pretty well. Actually got to listen to some Faker on the radio on the way to work today, hoping that's a good sign.

I am unsure whether to take that as positive or negative, haha. I haven't seen the original sketch (It's Key & Peele by the looks of it?) so maybe that doesn't help my standing. I guess negative.

As Martha Stewart would say, it's a good thing.

In the .gif in question both Key and Peele are extolling the virtues of Liam Neeson. 'Liam Neesons is mah shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!' Cue explosion.

Well in that case, I'm glad you liked it. That was my first exposure to the guy. I was slightly disappointed when I checked out his album and all of the live elements from the video were electronically sequenced. It lost a lot of its energy and soul.
