I might be alone on this one but lately I've been drifting way, way back to the classic games of my childhood. Games I remember fondly that, to me, rival many contemporaries. I haven't had a chance to play with Steam lately but surely they have the original Thief? Loved the immersion on that one. Or better yet, the original Deus Ex! Half-Life 2 was revolutionary but if I could wipe my memory and play somethings anew? Garrett and Denton for sure.

I'd like to throw in my vote for Deus Ex as well. Due to the sheer amount of content, individual experience varies to such a degree that discussion would be quite lively given a receptive audience.
