Hillary Clinton (duh), Rand Paul maybe?, and hopefully Bernie Sanders as an independent.

No way will there be a third party in the debates.

I'm largely cynical. Presidential elections end up being the lesser of two evils for me. What about you?

I hope it's Clinton and Bush for the absurdity of it. My prediction is a Clinton win no matter the GOP candidate.

Yes, they usually tend to be the lesser of two evils. You may not recall back when Ross Perot was a part of the final debates. It can happen and with the power of the Internet, there is no reason it couldn't again.

I voted for that crazy bastard (because I thought Clinton was fiscally irresponsible, and the Republicans worse). I thought he'd do better than he did, there was a lot of chatter about him but I think most voters got cold feet.

I couldn't vote at the time, I was 16 but still, I may have been inspired to vote for Perot too. He was certainly "different." I loved Dana Carvey's SNL interpretation of him, it was hilarious. He definitely secured Clinton's victory as he took votes from GB. I watched a documentary on Bush1 recently and he's very kind and gentle throughout it but when they bring up Perot he says, "I do not like that man." and when he says it, his face changes and you can see the anger/disdain.

Hate to break it to you, TNG, but I wasn't even born when Perot was running. That was the '92 election, I was born in '99.

And you're right, it can happen. I'm just not optimistic because I haven't seen a popular enough third party candidate for the upcoming race.
