The Boxer is one of the early songs I learned to play on the guitar. It's funny how you can sing/hear a song many times and not see the brilliance of the lyric until you read it. Thanks for that.
Ha, I misread "simile" as "smile" twice and couldn't figure out the comment. This problem was exacerbated by his use of the lyric, "I've got nothing to do today but smile.."
There but for the grace of you go I Forgot what I consider one of his most poetic lyrics. How beautiful a sentiment...
