Even if you don't like it) Listen to Big Audio Dynamite and Joe Strummer and the mescaleros
I know it's their biggest hit, but Rush is about as perfect a pop-song as there is, imo. I love it: As for Joe and the Mescaleros, I've always loved Bhindi Bhagee, here is a great live version of it. Joe was the best. THE BEST:
Joe strummer basically giving you a tour via food through his stomping grounds. Pretty cool track.
