The ampersand is on of those characters my hand refuses to draw no matter how I try. This is my ampersand:

That reads ham "plus" eggs, I would read mikes as ham "and" eggs. They're similar enough but your version begs an equals sign at the end.

The dots are suppose to be vertical lines. It would look like this if I were writing all neat and tidy like. I had a math professor as an undergrad who wrote very artistically. I began copying his handwriting when I took notes because it was so beautiful. I now to this day often make lower loops on g, j, y and z (it's a half-cursive z) and upper loops on f and h.
