No. Black holes exist, we have observed a ton of them. This (not peer reviewed) paper only demonstrates that hawking radiation is a problem for the theory of a black hole, not it's reality. All this work says is we need to reevaluate how (specifically stellar-mass) black holes are formed.

Yeah, I don't know if I agree with their conclusion either. I just threw it up because I thought it was an interesting way of restating the issue you brought up.
