I agree. The reversal he is painting is thought-provoking, but a bit much when you consider fair use.
It also should be mentioned this isn't "Banksy on Copyright", it is "Banksy on Advertising".
I think this makes a relevant point about the role of the public domain and materials that have been released for public consumption. How can you claim complete control over something that has been blasted directly into millions of eyeballs or ears? Such materials (advertising especially) have entered the cultural consciousness and are beyond anybody's control.
