My grandfather saw
The cities in the coolant
While forging the tools for your
American Dream
Cold concrete limp
His crutches against the wall
The victory gardens
That no one now grows
His crutches are moored to the shore
His garden now a middle name
But I'll call you after work
And we'll drive past the shop
And they'll line up to place stones
All over the Rhine
Where she taught him to swim

It's a fool that goes looking for logic in the chambers of a newgreen poem. Also, I titled it "Untitled" but it will eventually be known as "Track 10"

I maintain it's a good practice. Titling things is hard. When you need to do it (or want to), having all that practice will help. I write the Kenning blog for over a year before I finally started getting the hang of titles, and even then, I'm not there all the time. But I wouldn't have gotten closer without forcing myself to title each one.

I guess I've never had a problem with titling things. I enjoyed going "untitled" for a change.
