    My education in experimental music came in my college years. Between volunteering at the campus radio station [...] But seeing this BBC documentary on a late ‘60s experimental music program in the schools of Shoreditch, London, UK, made me wish I’d been from a time and place where I could have had many of those experiences (likely minus the cannabis, or maybe not) in elementary school.

The cool thing is that Modern music is being snuck into kids shows CONSTANTLY now. Check out the incidental music for this show:

these guys are putting into practice what the people in Shoreditch schools figured out in the 60's. It's also what Tobacco companies figured out: if you get them early, they'll be with you for life.

My kid loves Ruby Gloom but I've never watched it with her. Guess I have to check it out.
