As if the rise of the superbugs wasn't enough of a threat...
The first time I read this, I thought it was real. Then I saw the link at the bottom that began, "Get more satire from..." What a relief that was. It was very condescending otherwise.
We brought this on ourselves by over-using facts, doctors will come out with all these facts without them being required to inform their patients. Facts are being dumped into reservoirs where people are free to interpret them however they wish. But the people making the facts don't care about this, they only want profits. So you can help by effecting their profits, join me in a boycott against Big Encylopaedia. Stop buying all educational books, charts, maps etc. and demmand that they supply facts more carefully in the future.
I've found that patience and reasonable conversation tends to work as a decent repellant against this type of pest. If one can resist the urge to swat or smack them directly, they'll often tire of buzzing around, and leave to find a more suitable host. Just be careful when they're swarming though. A person may be better off seeking suitable shelter as soon as possible. Accidentally confronting them with irrefutable facts is akin to kicking a hornets nest.
The title of this post made me giggle. It's kind of perfect for the object of the post lol I know plenty of people that are "Fact-Resistant" and most of the time are pretty obnoxious but are occasionally good for comedic value.
