It would be great if this could work across the board for all the sites, places etc, that you need to type in a password. Too many things on the internet and elsewhere require a password these days or differing usernames that I find it impossible to keep track of them. I am constantly having to reset my accounts to get a new password because I can't remember the one I made. Something like a master key that gives you total access to your entire internt profile, perhaps you just need a password to log into the internet and from there you remain as one identity.

That's exactly what LastPass, KeePass, Keychain and other password managers are for. Well, without the one identity part. As for that, I would say Facebook, Twitter and OpenID want to be everyone's singular identity online.

Do you think that eventually the camera on your computer will just see you and know it's you? No logging in needed at all just go to a website and your likeness will direct you to the appropriate account? Seems a reasonable assumption regarding the direction things are headed in. People don't seem to care much for privacy these days.

Yeah I think that would be great! I just remember that scene in Minority Report when Tom Cruise walks into the gap and triggers a sensor that recognizes your identity and purchase history....that is the future.
