My friends and I are taking a huge road trip to the Upper Peninsula in Michigan. It'll be a long drive and I'm the only one who has a license, but I can't wait to go! It's going to be awesome, finally being away from all the familiarity of where I live. I want to get lost! Aside from that, I want to be able to finish the short story that I'm currently working on before the summer ends.
I've never been to Michigan, so a road trip there actually sounds like it could be quite fun. Road trips for me usually consist of heading to Idaho and Utah since that is where most of my friends are living now. I live where ever I feel like it. Sometimes at home, sometimes in my truck or random strangers apartments on little road trips. Last time was a little interesting when we passed out on a floor in portland. Only plus side is no hotel cost!
mk spends time in the U.P every year. Hubski is out of Ann Arbor. I grew up there and mk lives there now. Do you live in MI?
Yep! I'm in the Flint area, ~45 minutes west of the city. It's a nice little town I live in, but my friends and I agreed that a change in scenery would be a nice treat for surviving high school. I didn't know Hubski would be so close! Hey (not-so-close) neighbors!
