Hai Everyone!
I'm Faith. Literally, that is my name. How are you doing? I am new around here and just thought I'd say hi.
I'm 26. I don't necessarily believe in God but have a sense of Karma and Spirituality. My favorite color is pink and I'm dating a really great guy. We are moving in together soon and I cannot wait. I have a few medical issues and am currently on a feeding tube. It sucks because, I'm constantly hungry. Other than that I don't drive at all because of medication and quite frankly I suck at it! :-P
Tell me about you!
Here is a related post: Welcome Faith! Best of luck with your health challenges and congratulations in regard to moving in together with your boyfriend. That's a big step. It sounds like you are interested in religion/spirituality. You ought to check out the Hubski podcast we made with the community on the topic:
I'm Romeo (or Roma if you'd prefer I go by both!) I'm also new here. I'm a rather religious person (I serve on the board for my university's Hillel chapter as well as co-directing our freshman outreach/socialization program) I'm home on break and working my movie theater job until I move back North. I've been doing a lot of pc gaming recently (if you play any games I'm always looking for new friends to game with!) since in my town all there is to do is work, watch tv, game, or spend ungodly amounts of time on the internet. I'm guilty of the last two in particular... Are you able to work/do you have a job? (I apologize if that's not a question you want asked I'm just morbidly curious...)
Hi SCUM! How are you? What's new in your life? What makes you tick/interesting/different? Ah - you see my tubing doesn't go directly to my stomach. It goes to my intestines thus in effect, bypassing my stomach. Sorry, that wasn't clear. Usually, people on tubes aren't hungry but when it goes past the stomach then, yes they can be hungry all the time. It is a weird feeling to have and you sort of get used to it in effect.
That is really interesting, your body is nourished but your stomach still thinks that you need food. I'm not sure there is anything interesting or different about me, I spend most of my time working and when i am not working I am going to university. If I am able to take a breath I try to play some video games.
Ya. It's weird/different. I always feel like I could eat but don't necessarily have to eat. It's like that feeling when you could have seconds or desert or something but you don't need to and would be fine otherwise. Sounds like you have a pretty normal existence, how's school treating you? Any future life plans or just focusing on the here & now?
