For me the defining moment while playing Fallout 3 happened while I'm on the National Mall looking at the Washington Monument and I look at my Pipboy to see where I need to go next. As it turns out I need to go to the Museum of Technology. Well, I've been to DC. I've been to the National Mall. I've been to the Museum of Technology and I know where it is, so I went straight to it. There's something about that experience that just made the game so much more real for me. And now, as a life long Masshole, I get to play in Boston? Fuck yeah.
I got so immersed in Fallout 3 it wasn't funny. I got home from school and played it until bedtime. I was crazy about it. And all I did in the game was run around and exploring/looting places. I'm replaying the game now and I'm finding so many new things in it that I wonder sometimes how much of the game I missed. Can't wait for the Boston! And new Power Armor! And-
